About Our Department

Who We Are

The Africa Inland Church Missions Department (AIC MD) exists to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Since its formation in 1958, AIC MD has been committed to spreading the Gospel, planting churches, and coordinating mission ministries across Kenya and beyond.

To spread the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ throughout the World.

  • To preach the Gospel

  • To plant and establish churches

  • To oversee all missions ministries and activities of the Africa Inland Church – Kenya and beyond

We set aside dedicated times to focus on missions:

  • Special Offering Sundays – Every 1st Sunday of May and every 1st Sunday of October

  • National Missions Prayer Day – Every Monday, 8:00–8:40 PM (virtual)

Kenya alone has 22 unreached tribes, with vast areas still untouched by missionary presence. Neighboring countries such as Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania also cry out for spiritual help. We believe the Church must do more to fulfill the Great Commission.

Recognizing that the entire Christian life is a walk of faith, members of the Board and missionaries depend upon God as the ultimate provider of every need — spiritual and material. Mission work is a ministry of faith, freeing us from anxiety and anchoring us in trust.
